Q: What makes your compatible cartridges different from the rest?

A: Our cartridges are specially designed and fabricated to meet or even surpass OEM performance.

Our mastery in the design and engineering of our cartridges delivers products with sure and dependable high quality. Regular extensive performance audits are administered during production. Print quality and life testing of selected cartridges ensure the end product's success. As a result, our cartridge return rate is one of the lowest in the industry, and our customer satisfaction rate is constantly increasing.

Q: Will my printer warranty be voided if I buy compatible products?

A: Customers have asked if using compatible cartridges in their printer of fax machines will void their manufacturer's warranty.

Though many people have been told by their service-agents that this is true, - IT IS FALSE! The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act, and the Sherman and Clayton Anti-Trust Act protect your rights and your warranty.

United States Code Annotated
Title 15 Commerce and Trade
Chapter 50 Consumer Product Warranties
15 Section 2032

"... (c) No warrantor of a consumer product may condition his written or implied warranty of such product on the consumer's using, in connection with such product, any article or service (other than article or service provided without charge under the terms of the warranty) which is identified by brand, trade or corporate name; except that the prohibition of this subsection be waived by the commission if:

1) The warrantor satisfies the Commission that the warranted product will function properly only if the article or service so identified is used in connection with the warranted product, and
2) the Commission finds that such a waiver is in the public interest. "

This simply means that your printer warranty cannot be voided by use of compatible products unless the manufacturer can prove that the compatible product caused your printer direct damage.

Q: What are compatible, remanufactured, and OEM cartridges?

A: Compatibles are brand new cartridges that are ready to use and guaranteed to meet or even surpass OEM performance for less than half the cost of new cartridges. Compatible and remanufactured cartridges are by far your best value for almost all of you printing needs.

Our remanufactured cartridges are recycled, refurbished and filled with premium-quality ink. These environmentally-friendly cartridges use the recycled casing, but are re-fabricated with brand new drums and other interior parts. Then they are sealed and sold to our environmentally and financially savvy customers.  Performance is guaranteed to be equal to or better than that of a new or OEM cartridge. We offer remanufactured cartridges for HP, Lexmark and many other printers. Using Recycled cartridges is not only beneficial for our environment; recycled products made in the USA help the growth of the US Economy, and help save you money.

OEM stands for "Original Equipment Manufacturer." Original cartridges are more expensive than other options and generally not the best value for your dollar. These OEM cartridges can be identified by their “Name Brands” such as Lexmark, Hewlett Packard or Xerox, with their corresponding Brand Logos. These are by far the most expensive cartridges because manufacturers know that many people make the wrong assumption that they must use the same brand when they don't.

Q: What are the differences between Toner and Inkjet Cartridges?

A: Visual Differences:

If your cartridge is about 3 to 4 inches in size (75 to 100 mm) or smaller, your cartridge probably uses liquid inkjet ink. If the cartridge is about as wide as a sheet of paper (9 to 12 inches or 225 to 400 mm) or larger, the machine probably uses powdery toner.

Technical Differences:

Liquid ink is used in inkjet printers, some copiers, and faxes. Toner is used in laser printers, plain paper faxes, and in plain paper copiers

Physical Differences:

If the ink on the paper is wet, your printer probably uses ink cartridges. If the paper comes out warm, it uses toner.

Helpful Tips

Store cartridges in an upright position BEFORE USAGE The ink in the cartridge must move to the bottom of the cartridge and pass through a sponge to start working. During shipping cartridges do not stay in an upright position causing the ink to collect at the opposite end of the cartridge. For best results place the cartridge in an upright position for several hours before usage.

Run your printers print head cleaning utility, and print cartridge alignment tool once you install your new cartridge. This keeps the nozzles clean and ensures optimal print quality. You may refer to your printer manual for detailed instructions. Make sure to remove all tapes and adhesives to unseal air holes from the cartridge, and un-constrict airflow and pressure.

Do not leave your empty cartridges inside of your printer. Leaving them in your printer may cause the print head to clog. Remember that the print head is in the printer, NOT in the cartridge. Perform a cleaning cycle through your printer utilities option (on your computer) and follow the instructions to print a test page. If you are not sure how to do this please consult your printer owners manual. You may have to repeat this process SEVERAL TIMES.

If this fails to solve your problem, feel free to call a sales specialist and they will be happy to help you get everything running great!
